Child Care Connections offers various services to assist our students in searching for quality childcare while enrolled in courses at èßäav Little Rock.
Child Care Connections Services Update – June 11, 2025
The èßäav Little Rock Child Care Connections CCAMPIS Program will continue offering childcare services through September 30, 2025. However, due to recent changes in the federal budget, it is anticipated that CCAMPIS funding will not be available beyond this date. At this time, our office is currently exploring continued access to funds, but can neither confirm, nor guarantee funding after September 30, 2025.
Students may apply for Fall 2025 childcare funding starting July 15, 2025 on our website at . Approved students will have child care funding from August 20, 2025 to September 30, 2025.
We understand that child care support is vital for student success, and we encourage you to explore additional child care assistance options available in Arkansas:
Income-Based Child Care Assistance Programs:

Priority is given to children from low-income households, those receiving public assistance, foster care, or experiencing homelessness.

Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS)
èßäav Little Rock has been awarded the Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) federal grant worth more than $580,000 from the U.S. Department of Education. This grant will help pay childcare expenses for low-income and single-parent undergraduate students to assist them in completing their college education at èßäav Little Rock. Child Care funding will be available to low-income AND Pell Grant-eligible students. (Graduate students are not eligible for the CCAMPIS funding as they are not eligible for the Pell Grant.)
Who is eligible?
- Must be Pell Grant eligible
- Must be enrolled at least six (6) hours per semester
- Must have a 2.0 GPA minimum
- Must be considered low-income based on federal guidelines
